Interlink Networks Signs OEM Agreement with Pyramid Computer; Wi-Fi Security Software Integrated Into Appliance for Enterprise Networks

Interlink Networks announced that it has entered into agreement with German-based solution provider Pyramid Computer for integrating its Secure.XS wireless LAN authentication software into Pyramids Ben Hur II product. The Ben Hur II is a hardware appliance that consolidates and manages all network communications. With the addition of Secure.XS, the new Ben Hur II will be able to manage and secure wireless LANs. The Ben Hur II server will be sold in North America, Middle East/Africa, Asia Pacific and Europe via Pyramids extensive reseller network.

BenHur II is a multifunctional network communications server designed for small- and medium-sized businesses. BenHur II eliminates the need for many separate telecommunications devices by linking all electronic communication functions to the Internet and to the local network, including Internet access, e-mail, virus and spam protection, fax, remote access, URL filter, VPN gateway, proxy, and firewall. Configuration and administration are carried out through an easy-to-use interface via a desktop browser.

The new Ben Hur II with integrated Secure.XS Wi-Fi security is expected to be ready for customer shipments during the fourth quarter of 2003.
