TTPCom Signs Agreement with KTC of Korea
Cambridge, UK,(PRWEB)14 October 2003. TTPCom, the worlds leading independent supplier of digital wireless technology and KTC Telecom Co Ltd of Korea, have signed an agreement for the development of a range of leading edge mobile phones based on TTPComs InTouch handset designs. KTC is a leading contract equipment manufacturer of GSM, corded, cordless and DECT phones, which it produces on behalf of several leading Korean companies. The deal provides KTC with a fast track to market with a range of products, which the company will be able to customise with their own 'look and feel. KTCs first product will be based on TTPComs entry-level design targeted at emerging markets. KTC will also develop a clamshell camera phone, based on TTPComs ITH255 mobile phone design, which incorporates tri-band GPRS class 10 with embedded camera, WAP 2.0, MMS, 40-note polyphonic sound, a colour TFT screen and high quality games. This product is scheduled for release in early 2004.
