IIPM students visit Europe
IIPM students return from European study tour under the Global Opportunity & Threat Analysis (GOTA) programme
Under the much acclaimed Global Opportunity & Threat Analysis (GOTA) programme, every year many leading organizations of the world sponsor & support IIPM's MBA students for undertaking projects and research assignments in the European & American continents. The programme has seen overwhelming response from organizations across Europe viz. Nestle's Global Head Quarters, United Nations, World Bank, Credit Suisse etc.
As a part of the European chapter of this programme, over 60 of IIPM's MBA students accomplished the study tour in March2003. Accompanied by senior members of the faculty, these students visited several commendable organizations in Switzerland. The IIPM delegation was invited and hosted by the likes of United Nations, International Labour Organization, Swiss Stock Exchange (Zurich), Geneve Financial Centre (Geneva), Credit Suisse (Geneva) and leading educational institutes like IMD (Lausanne), University of Geneva & Webster University.
During the GOTA tour, students participated in various lectures and seminars organized by the top management of sponsoring organizations, along with company and factory visits.
IIPM's endeavor to expose their students internationally and the quality of student interaction were highly appreciated by various European organizations hosting the program. Said Dr. Richard T.
