Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA, September 30, 2003- Thermostat designer and manufacturer Aube Technologies announces the Aube RC845 heat pump add-on fossil fuel relay.
The Aube RC845 relay is designed to control both a gas or oil furnace burner and the fan when a heat pump is added to an existing heating system. Choosing the RC845 allows for quicker, easier installations compared with the two-relay installations often used with this type of heating application.
To further simplify installation and servicing, the RC845 comes with clearly labeled wires and connections. Its compact size allows installation on or inside an electrical enclosure, enabling easy compliance with electrical codes. While optimized for use with an Aube TH144 Series thermostat, the Aube RC845 is also compatible with most other heat pump thermostats.
The Aube RC845 will be available in October 2003.
