Local technology company offers discounts to students
Second Wind PCs, a Troy, Michigan-based technology company is offering discounts to students on high-quality, name brand computer equipment. Company officials are willing to participate in any school event or meeting centered around technology to communicate information on the best and most affordable ways to bring technology into the home and school for students. They have represented Second Wind PCs at these events this school year and are willing to do it for any school wanting to learn more about technology needs students face today and will face for the rest of their lives.
Troy, Mich. -- Representatives from Troy, Michigan-based technology company Second Wind PCs were on-hand last week at Cooper Elementary Schools Technology Night in Livonia. The company markets recently off-lease desktops, laptops, printers and more from Fortune 1000 companies.
Agge and Hatmaker will volunteer their time, like they did at Cooper Elementary, to visit any school wanting to learn about purchasing IT equipment for the school or for parents and students who need information on affordable ways to bring computers into their home.
After equipment is returned to Second Wind PCs sister company, M/C Leasing, all equipment goes through a diagnostic testing process where it is returned to the original manufacturer specifications, certified and warranted. SWPC is offering promotional prices to all Michigan students on top of already affordable prices on this brand name, high-quality equipment.
Cooper Elementary hosted Technology Night for parents and students wanting to learn more about the technological skills students will need in school and for the rest of their lives. Second Wind PCs Director Scott Agge and Education Sales Representative Kevin Hatmaker lent expertise on purchasing and maintaining equipment at affordable prices.
Complete desktop computer systems start at $149 while laptops start at $299. Printers, monitors and many other items are also available at great discounts.
Second Wind PCs will also soon be starting a fund raising program with the schools to raise money for technology budgets. While the program is still in planning stages, it is known that participating schools will receive proceeds from sales on equipment to the school, its students and staff.
Second Wind PCs will also work directly with schools and school districts to supply technology needs for classrooms, labs, offices, etc.
For more information on equipment or any of the programs, to order or to schedule Second Wind PCs participation in a school event or meeting centered around technology, contact Kevin Hatmaker at 248.404.4477 or khatmaker@secondwindpcs.com.
