Empyrean Management Group, Inc. and Delaware State University Team to Prepare Students Entering the Workforce
Empyrean Management Group, Inc. is working with colleges and universities to better prepare students for entering the workforce.
E. NORRITON, PA (PRWEB) October 17, 2003 -- Empyrean Management Group, Inc., a leading provider of people focused management consulting solutions, announced today that it will be presenting a seminar titled, "Getting Hired 101," for the students of Delaware State University, a historically black university in Dover, DE. This two-hour seminar will cover everything from resume preparation to introducing the students to behavioral interview techniques used by many employers and will be conducted on October 28th, 2003 at 6:00 PM in the Martin Luther King Student Center on campus.
"It has been our experience having interviewed thousands over the time that we have been in business that most people coming out of college are not prepared to interview. When you combine that with the challenges that many companies experience when trying to identify and hire qualified Diversity candidates it felt like this seminar was the right thing to do," said Michael Kalinsky, President of Empyrean Management Group, Inc.
"I faced a lot of the same challenges these students are going to run into when they graduate and feel like I can help make a difference with this training," said Harold Hill, EMG's Diversity Recruiting Manager and one of the presenters.
