A showcase for those trying out new ways of performing live with technology...a multi textured, multi layered affair of sound & visual escapism....is it theatre?, performance art?, Video Disco? or live vocalists & musicians with a rather huge slice of virtual band? something for everyone......serious or supercilious

Acts confirmed for this first evening of 'Excentricity'
FUZZGUN SNIPER
These high riding pop punk fusionists play LIVE the three tunes on their Local Chart topping EP, then round off the evening with a lively DJ set featuring their unique and slightly unsettling party pieces....
Cap'n Ant's & his Weird Synth
a cult act in the making....Original Digital video short movies, Fractal Visualisations, laconic locally inspired lyrics vocalised by Eric & Mavis who live inside his computer and Weird Synths. Showcasing tracks from his self titled CD Album + debut of his freshly pressed EP 'Dull Thudda!'
Brown Bear

This is an act that has achieved local cult status already...the murmur mill chanting "Just Who is Brown Bear?" find out on the night as he introduces himself on Digital Video, shows you his instruments and then gives us all a virtual performance of several specially created songs just for this evening. His CD Album 'Ice Helmet' is fighting it out with Fuzzgun Sniper for the top spot in the Local CD Sales Chart....
plus several classic and classical musicians overlaying and 'Jamming' with Virtual bands!
Just in Digital Video performance by ADOM who performed Live @ the Kazbah the other week
And Digital Video performance of Laika Dog who performed Live @ the Spa Ocean Room the other week
Plus A Virtual Band Performance to be performed Live at the event :) all very high tech stuff a completely new experience for Scarborough's music lovers....
Jenny Goodwin's Fine Art Video Installation "Sea Creatures" is being shown looping all night at the back seating area of the Toby Jug.....

If this experiment works then more venues and dates will be confirmed in larger venues at home and outside of Town shortly afterwards......'Excentricity' night highlighting what's happening music wise in Scarborough as well as showcasing new sound and visual thinking!
