London, 16 October 2003. Espotting Media, 'Europe's Best Paid Placement Service[1]' has appointed Matthew Colebourne, ex-DoubleClick TechSolutions Managing Director, as Vice President, Operations.

Matthew brings 17 years of managerial, sales, and operations experience in the technology and media sector. Matthew joins Espotting from DoubleClick (NASDAQ DCLK) where he has been for the last 5 years and was part of the European founding team. He has worked in a number of management positions at DoubleClick, most recently Managing Director, International (VP) where he was responsible for 18 operations throughout Europe and Asia, and a staff of approximately 160 people. He was responsible for striking deals across Europe with companies such as Freeserve, EresMas and Adlink. Other positions held at DoubleClick include Managing Director, EMEA; and Managing Director APAC (Asia Pacific). Prior to his tenure with DoubleClick, Matthew held senior sales positions at Seagate Software IMG Ltd where he was responsible for deals with companies such as Barclays, Cadbury and British Telecom; and Integral Solutions Ltd where he launched the company in Asia. Matthew was named as one of New Media Age Magazine's '50 Most Influential People in New Media' for 2002.

Matthew joins Espotting's senior management team with responsibility to continue to refine and improve the processes that support Espotting's 16,000 advertisers and over 1,000 network partners across the European group. 'Espotting is in a unique position as the only independent player in the fastest growing sector of online advertising' commented Matthew. 'Joining Espotting was a logical choice as my international experience fits well to help the company take best advantage of the huge opportunities that lie ahead for this entrepreneurial and innovative business.'

Matthew joins as the 200th member of the rapidly expanding Espotting team. Espotting has led the growth of the paid listings sector in Europe - launching ahead of the competition in each of its 10 European territories. Espotting drives targeted, qualified traffic to over 16,000 websites. Advertisers, of all sizes, bid against each other for prominence within Espotting's search listings, and Espotting distributes those listings to hundreds of websites across the Internet. Unlike other advertising mediums, Espotting gives the advertiser complete control of the price they pay as well as being 100% accountable and measurable. The model suits advertisers of all sizes, whether their marketing budget is large or small and therefore there is huge potential for growth - the paid listings market is predicted to be worth US$7 billion worldwide by 2007[2].

Matthew will be reporting to Espotting's COO, Jonathan Bunis. 'Matthew's unique personal style and his range of experience makes him a natural addition to the Espotting management team as we move to the next stage of the company's expansion of its geography, product range and service offerings' said Jonathan.

'Matthew's appointment highlights Espotting's focus on operational excellence, our continued commitment to providing the highest levels of customer service in the industry and the ongoing explosive drive of Espotting's growth' commented Daniel Ishag, Founder & CEO, Espotting Media.
