Online and wireless marketing specialists YR Media have produced a multi-part campaign to celebrate the record label Wall of Sounds 10th birthday. The creative activity is a blend of interactive ecards, a 'breakout style flash game, polyphonic and mono ringtones, logos and colour images, text messaging, online PR and guerrilla P2P activity designed to produce a compelling story.
Visitors to the ecard can fully experience 'The Wall of Sound with streaming tracks from the labels top ten artists and the chance to grab themselves free mobile content. The Off the Wall game takes players through 10 levels off brick busting mayhem with each level representing a year and streaming tracks from the celebration album. Those who reach the final level get a free unreleased track and their choice of ringtones. The combination of strong creative, mobile incentives and on and offline activity seem to be producing strong results both in terms of data capture and awareness.
