Stafford has over 18 years of experience specializing in operational and design aspects of transportation engineering. His work concentrates on operational analysis, alternatives development and plan preparation. Staffords experience also includes traffic systems, such as urban arterial street system and signal systems analysis.

With his strong background, Dick Stafford is well poised to provide leadership and guidance to the civil group at BB&A," commented James Daum, PE, President of Bowman, Barrett & Associates, Inc.

Previously, Stafford served as the Senior Transportation Engineer with CH2M Hill in Chicago, IL. He is an active member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and the Transportation Research Boards Committee on the "Operational Effects of Geometrics." Stafford is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and earned his bachelors degree in civil engineering in 1985 from the Michigan Technological University.
