If your school is paying for assistive technology software, you are probably paying too much. Premier Assistive Technology is quickly becoming a leader in assistive technology with over 15 cost effective products. Thats not the story. We have found that schools don't use our products students do, and we have also found that a child who has difficulty reading at school will often times have trouble reading outside the classroom.

With that in mind Premier Assistive Technology is no longer charging schools for our products. That is right Schools, Training Centers and not for profit support centers can receive an unlimited site license for all our products just by filling out our grant form.

Many times there are kids that don't have labels but still struggle with the printed word. With an unlimited site license you do not need to discriminate against them, by only providing assistive technology to those who have labels. Some kids don't have parents who can read to them in English, or may have parents who can't read to them at all.

This is not free ware are share ware, where if it does not work you are on your own. We are offering the same products to schools that we sell to home users, but what you get with our products that you do not get with shareware and often times expensive products is great tech support. When you call you get a real person to talk to. Training Videos, most complex software comes with a very thick and often times confusing manual. That is right they have manuals for individuals who have difficulty reading. We now have training videos for all our programs, as well as the manual built into the software so that the program can read it to you.

Why are we different?

1. We produce a toolbox of simple easy to use tools that are task specific. We did this so that we avoid the one-size fits all model that forces people to purchase or navigate through features that they don't need or want. The toolbox solution allows teachers to build a unique solution for each student. The approach makes our products easy to learn and easy to use.

2. We have eliminated all proprietary file formats. If you create a file that can only be used with one product. It is really not accessible! Individuals need to be able to use standard file formats that they can share with others.

3. If it is not affordable, then often times it is not accessible. True we all may want a BMW, but do most of us drive one? By keeping the products simple they are easy to use and easy to learn but you only have to pay for the features that you need.

4. No Required Maintenance agreement! Break the barrier, just say no to maintenance agreements that require you to pay whether you need it or not. All our upgrades are inclusive, when you need the upgrade you pay for the upgrade.
