ITG Broadband to deploy services in Little Elm and Frisco Texas

ITG Broadband is now providing fixed wireless broadband services to the communities of Little Elm and Frisco in North Dallas TX.

ITG Broadband is prepared to deploy high-speed Internet services in the Little Elm and Frisco areas as soon as this weekend, October 11th, 2003. The company has tested its networks, and is ready to deploy broadband to customers within a 10 mile radius of the intersection of FM 423 and FM 720 which is right on the border between Frisco and Little Elm.

ITG Broadband should be able to reach almost all of the customers in this radius, but before any services are installed, a site survey will be performed to ensure that the best quality service will be delivered to the customer. The site survey will be a free service that will require no commitment from the customer if services cannot be delivered. If there are no issues, and the customer will have high-speed access, then the installation will proceed. This is a simple and quick process, and this does not require any effort from the customers themselves.

Service rates are currently $37.95 per month for residential service, and we do require a small installation charge. For customers in a more distant location from the crossing of FM 423 and FM 720, an additional equipment deposit may be necessary. Currently there is a promotion to waive the $5.00 per month equipment rental charge. These prices are subject to change without notice at the discretion of the management of ITG Broadband.

Fixed wireless is a technology that uses airwaves to transmit high-speed Internet services to their customers. Using the latest technologies, ITG Broadband is able to transmit broadband access to their customers at similar speeds (and in most cases higher) than cable and DSL technologies. To access the ITG Broadband network, a small and hardly noticeable transmitter will need to be placed on the roof of your home, or in a similar position that has line-of-site (or can see") the broadcast location. These transmitters are less than 1 foot high, and 4 inches square.
