OF CANCER RESEARCH AT SECOND ANNUAL NOVEMBERFEST
Metromixs LeeAnn Trotter to Host Hundreds at City of Hope Benefit, November 5
CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) October 17 2003-- This fall, chefs from restaurants throughout Chicago are taking steps to fight this devastating disease at the second annual Novemberfest: A Celebration of Food, Wine and Spirits on Wednesday, November 5. Guests will enjoy a sampling of the most creative work from over 30 chefs, and an array of wines and spirits will be offered to enjoy with the fare. Metromix host LeeAnn Trotter will serve as the events emcee.
Novemberfest raises funds for cancer research, treatment and education at City of Hope Cancer Center, a world-renowned leader in research and treatment to prevent, combat and ultimately cure cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses.
Novemberfest: A Celebration of Food, Wine and Spirits, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the legendary Excalibur, 632 North Dearborn in Chicago. Tickets for the event are $75 per person.
City of Hope is honored to have so many of Chicagos best restaurants supporting this event," said Linda Ballard, senior director of Development at City of Hope. This event is a fun, unique way for us to support -- and recognize -- the innovative research and treatment programs at City of Hope, and share it with the people of Chicago."

Eighty-five cents of every dollar raised goes directly to research, and money raised from events like Novemberfest benefits local communities through City of Hopes collaborations with regional medical centers and academic institutions.
