Armageddon and Beyond
New author Liz Moore publishes sci-fi/thriller about Armageddon. Moore has written a tale of misused power and the frightening consequences upon a general public that blindly follows a leader with delusions of greatness.
Author Liz Moore has released her first novel, "Noble Savage," a sci-fi/thriller taking readers through Armageddon and back. Moore's book takes place at the end of the 20th century during the public's fascination with the possiblity of the world ending and their fears about what might happen in the 21st century. The story revolves around a self-proclaimed prophet named Adam and his followers: the People United Under a New Kingdom (PUUNKs). Adam warns the world to join his group or suffer the consequences. Those who follow him are allowed a place in the New World Order. Those who refuse to follow Adam's lead are killed by a horrific weapon of mass destruction. A few people are naturally immune to Adam's weapon and they, along with some of the PUUNKs who've learned the error of their ways, start a new group in order to regain their rightful place in the world.
So far, the novel has received good reviews, including five stars on the Amazon.com web site.
