GREAT FLORIDA BANK FILES FOR STATE CHARTER

(October 20, 2003) -- A group of South Florida business and community leaders have filed an application with the State of Florida Department of Financial Services for a charter establishing a community bank headquartered in South Florida. Mehdi Ghomeshi is the proposed President and Chief Executive Officer of Great Florida Bank (In Organization).
