The 1st annual San Francisco World Fest announces today that Bay Area youth are invited the opening film of the fest, HOOKED, The legend of Demetrius Hook Mitchell. Furthermore, a portion of proceeds from the screening will go directly to a selected Bay Area Youth group.

The 1st annual San Francisco World Fest announces today that Bay Area youth are invited the opening film of the fest, HOOKED, The legend of Demetrius Hook Mitchell. Furthermore, a portion of proceeds from the screening will go directly to a selected Bay Area Youth group. This screening is aimed at impacting at-risk youth by showing the story of one of the Bay Areas very own legend who never made it to the NBA due to the harsh realities that all at-risk youth today face.

If we manage to impact the life of one kid out of the one thousand expected attendees participating in the screening on Thursday; we will have made a major contribution to our community" , says Karen Gabai, Founder

The screening is open to the general public for $10. Portion of proceeds will go directly to selected Bay Area Youth Group. Organizations interested in bringing group of youth at no charge may call 415-359-9512 as soon as possible to reserve seating. Tickets are available at TicketWeb
