MobiLink Kuwait launch mobile Value Added Services 'Goal Flash Powered by Swapcom technologies

MobiLink W.L.L., a key Telecommunication and IT development company in Kuwait, and Swapcom, a leading European provider of mobile software, announced today an agreement for the roll out of a brand new mobile value-added services 'Goal Flash in Middle-East.

As an ever growing service, Mobile information delivery is becoming the most popular mobile VAS everywhere in the world. End-users really enjoy and are still searching to get new personalized alerts (Push), breaking news and request information sent directly to their mobile (Pull).

To that end and for the first time in Middle East, MobiLinks 'Goal Flash allows football fans to keep up-to-the-minute with the European leagues and receive key information by SMS. Goal Flash is covering live matches, match kickoff, goals alert, red card alert, team selections or standing, etc...sent directly on the users mobile phone.

To help MobiLink to deploy this new Goal Flash" service, Swapcom provided them with the Multimedia Mobile Information Portal" (MMIP) that enables external providers to dynamically import, format and deliver multimedia contents using SMS-EMS, Cell-Broadcast or MMS messages.
