NEWS DIGEST OF UK TRANSPORTATION PLANNING APPEAL DECISIONS

DWP, Denis Wilson Partnership - UK transportation engineering consultants - have launched a new web site and monthly e-newsletter digest of UK transportation planning appeal decisions.

A monthly e-newsletter digest of transportation planning appeal decisions is available from DWP, Denis Wilson Partnership. Digest news provides a helpful indicator for property developers and owners of the Inspectorate's current decision-making criteria, according to the transportation engineering consultants. Subscription details for the free newsletter are available on DWPs new web site at http://www.deniswilson.co.uk.

Transportation and traffic issues have assumed even greater importance in the planning process, and impact directly upon the viability and profitability of new development projects. This requires an understanding of relevant appeal decisions, amongst other issues, and their implications for each proposed project," says Graham Bignell, managing director of DWP.

DWP advises developers, retailers and other organisations on some 700 new transport and traffic-related development projects each year. Services include: feasibility studies and site appraisals; development planning, impact assessments and negotiation with planning authorities; detailed design of highway works, and associated value engineering and legal negotiation; and implementation through project planning, programming and management.
