Robert Fagliarone, CPA, Being Honored at Syracuse Northeast Community Centers Hall of Fame Dinner

Syracuse, N.Y., Oct. 22, 2003 -- Robert Fagliarone, CPA, PFS, is being honored at the Syracuse Northeast Community Centers Third Annual Hall of Fame Dinner and 25th Birthday Celebration on November 12, 2003. The dinner will be held at Drumlins Country Club. Fagliarone is one of ten community members being honored by the Syracuse Northeast Community Center. Honorees are selected based on professional excellence and service to the community.

Syracuse, N.Y., Oct. 22, 2003 -- Robert Fagliarone, CPA, PFS, is being honored at the Syracuse Northeast Community Centers Third Annual Hall of Fame Dinner and 25th Birthday Celebration on November 12, 2003. The dinner will be held at Drumlins Country Club. Fagliarone is one of ten community members being honored by the Syracuse Northeast Community Center. Honorees are selected based on professional excellence and service to the community.

   The Syracuse Northeast Community Center is a nonprofit organization that focuses on delivering educational, health, social, and recreational services to the residents of northeastern Syracuse. This dinner celebration is a fundraiser for the Center and proceeds from the event directly benefit those who are at risk from poverty, violence, hunger, illness, and discrimination.

Fagliarone, a Syracuse native, founded Fagliarone Group CPAs in 1972. He is an expert in estate and financial planning, as well as taxation. Robert has been an active member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1966, having served as past Director and New York State President. He was past president and trustee for the Foundation for Accounting Education. Fagliarone served a term as a member of the New York State Board of Accountancy, and he's served on several committees of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Lemoyne College and past chairman of its Board of Regents. He is also active in the community, having volunteered with the Solvay Jaycees, Solvey Geddes Lions Club, the Greater Syracuse and Auburn Cayuga County Chambers of Commerce, Onondaga Historical Association, Onondaga County Industrial Development Association, Better Business Bureau, Rescue Mission, American Heart Association, and Hope for Bereaved. He has received several awards of distinction, including the 2001 New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Distinguished Service Award and the 1997 Frank Fernandez Business Leader Award from LeMoyne College.
