www.hellomagazine.com readers vote Sophie Wessex favourite royal mum-to-be

www.hellomagazine.com readers have voted Sophie Wessex favourite royal mum or mum-to-be in a recent online poll

www.hellomagazine.com readers have voted Sophie Wessex favourite royal mum or mum-to-be in a recent online poll. The Queens daughter-in-law and wife of Prince Edward, who is expecting her first baby in December, was the clear winner, taking one-third of the astounding 35,000 votes cast.

Popular Dutch Crown Princess Maxima, whose new arrival is expected in January, was a close second, coming just a few percentage points behind.

The royal mums of Norway also proved popular with www.hellomagazine.com readers. Crown Princess Martha Louise landed third place with 12 percent of votes, beating her sister-in-law Crown Princess Mette-Marit -- due to become a mum for the second time early in 2004 -- who received just over seven percent of the vote. Also included in the poll were Lady Helen Taylor, Alexia of Greece, Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco and Princess Astrid of Belgium.

1)   Sophie Wessex -- 33%
2)   Crown Princess Maxima of the Netherlands -- 28.7%
