ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Maria Elena Morgan was born in Germany, the daughter of an American soldier and a German mother. Her heritage is half Puerto Rican and half German. Maria is the oldest of four children, by five minutes. She has an identical twin sister. Maria traveled extensively growing up due to her fathers army career. She was privileged to experience and appreciate many different cultures. This knowledge only served to deepen her affection for the United States of America.
After graduation from high school, Maria pursued a career in the U.S. Army. Maria met her husband while stationed abroad, and got married at the same German clerk's office as her parents. After serving six years in the U.S. Army, she left to pursue other opportunities. She is the mother of three and resides in Virginia. New England Interlude is her second novel.
