SAG/NON-SAG CASTING FOR ROMANTIC-SUSPENSE THRILLER FILMING IN ALABAMA

On Saturday, November 8th, an open casting call will be held for the romantic-suspense thriller, "HYPNOTIC," (Peep This Ent.), which is scheduled to begin filming in Birmingham this coming winter.

Set in present-day, Hip-Hop urbana, the spellbinding "HYPNOTIC" reveals the story of an "average-looking" young woman, Sheretta Jackson, who hails from a long line of family practitioners of the art of magic, spells and hypnotism against the backdrop of a strong Christian faith. Secretly in love with Mr. Man-About-the-Town, Beige Jackson, since they were both children, Sheretta has high-hopes of captivating his non-committing heart. A handsome ladies man who often waxes poetic and is deemed a local celebrity by the small town, Beige crosses paths again with the mysterious Sheretta in their adult years, and the magic, and drama, begins to unfold.

The first casting call for "HYPNOTIC" is open to SAG members as well as non-union actors, and will take place in Birmingham, with an additional call being developed in the Atlanta metro area. The film calls for an African-American cast, and actors ages 8 and up are being sought to fill the numerous roles that are available.
