What Scares You at Halloween? - New Tract available from Western Tract Mission, Inc.

Western Tract Mission, Inc., a faith mission that distributes gospel tracts and Bible correspondence courses, has produced a new Halloween tract for children in time for handing out with treats at the doors of Christians.

Many Christians have mixed feelings at Halloween. They don't want to promote a pagan holiday, yet, when children come to the door, they wish they could do better than just hand out treats.

Western Tract Mission, Inc., has published a new tract this summer, using funds raised from the Cyclathon in July, that is the perfect answer. It is called, What Scares You at Halloween? (or, Are You Afraid of Cemeteries?). When children come to the door, along with treats, people can give a gospel tract written especially for children.

Naturally, the mission expects parents will read it too.

These tracts invite the reader to send for free Bible correspondence or Mailbox Club lessons. Very often the ones who do not make a decision for Christ immediately, upon reading the tract, do so after they have done a few lessons and corresponded with a Corrector.

A church stamp can be at the bottom of the back of the tract, creating an outreach for the church. Not only children, but whole families may start to attend as a result.

Most adults already know how many, on average, to expect on Halloween night. That is a good guide as for how many tracts to order. They are .10 cents each, so 10 tracts would be $1.

At their web site, http://WesternTractMission.org, anyone may print out a copy of the tract from the .pdf file for photocopying. The quality of paper and colour will depend on home printer capabilities and paper stock.
