What is a Books Legacy?
Writers Notes Book Awards takes a deep look into the past of independent publishing with the Legacy" category -- one of eleven intriguing judging divisions.
The Writers Notes Annual Book Awards looks past the very short shelf life of a good book with the Legacy" category, designed to reward books beyond the last two years.
Books older that two years are about one year and nine months expired in the logic of modern book selling," claims Writers Notes Magazine.
We designed the awards to reach the breadth of the publishing industry," says Senior Editor Christopher Klim. Our website at www.WritersNotes.com has a worldwide audience, and that infers eclectic tastes. It also means that it takes a little while to come around to a timely book."
Klim is the award-winning author of the acclaimed novels, Jesus Lives in Trenton and Everything Burns, and the breakthrough manual on writing craft, Write to Publish. Were focusing on 'whats good as opposed to 'whats now. 'Whats now is guy logic. A pretty new cover walks into the showroom, and this is suddenly more interesting. It doesnt make a book better, only more attractive."
The Writers Notes Book Awards is accepting titles through January 16, 2004 for inclusion in the worldwide release of Writers Notes Magazine in early 2004. Visit www.WritersNotes.com for complete details.
