Author, Hallelujah Kids Selected as Little African of the Month

LittleAfrica.com was created in the spring of 1997 with the vision of becoming the number one destination for African-Americans online. The early 1900s affluent, all-black community in North Tulsa, Oklahoma inspired the concept commonly known as Black Wall Street or Little Africa". This community of 15,000 contained over 600 businesses, 21 churches, 21 restaurants, 30 grocery stores and two movie theaters, plus a hospital, a bank, a post office, libraries, schools, law offices, half dozen private airplanes and several millionaires. The dollar circulated 36 to 100 times, sometimes taking a year for currency to leave the community.

LittleAfrica.com is proud to salute Sondra Lane as Little African of the Month. Rev. Lane is the CEO of Sondra Lane Corporation and the author of the newly released multi-cultural children's Book One of the Hallelujah Kids series. The up and coming Hallelujah Kids is designed to encourage growing children to develop a relationship with God early in life!
Rev. Sondra Lane, a west suburban native of Chicago, and an ordained missions pastor, is a doctoral candidate at a religious institute in Florida, working on a Ph.D. in Pastoral Management. She is currently pioneering a global mission for the under served. One of her greatest experiences was to work and fellowship in Calcutta, India with Mother Teresa and the Missionaries of Charity at Shishu Bhavan" the Home for Unwanted Children". In addition, she has worked in the Appalachian Mountains among poor communities as a key mission.
For Sondra Lane, relationship building with God is priority in her life. As a young child, she delighted herself in God, as He was the primary source of her youthful lifestyle. "God envisioned that I share my legacy with young children, that they may start relationship building with the best friend theyll ever have early in life! And so, Sondra Lanes Hallelujah Kids were born," said Rev. Lane.
