Finnish advertising systems kick off for globalization

Finnish NMI Ltd kicks off for globalization and expands its operations outside Scandinavia by establishing a subsidiary to HongKong. NMI implements its business, advanced advertising services, in co-operation with its media partners.

NMI Northman Matrix International Ltd from Oulunsalo Finland has established a subsidiary NMI Asia Ltd for its operations in Asia Pacific market. The overall objectivities for NMI Asia Ltd is to lead NMIs Asian activities, look after its interests and promote NMIs business concept and products among Asian publishing and communication technology business.

NMI Asia Ltd has its premises in Hong Kong and it is wholly owned by its parent company.

"NMI has a strong market position in Finland, and a certain degree of saturation is evitable in near future. One of our business strategies is therefore to expand our operations outside Scandinavia", says NMIs managing director Jorma Ainassaari.

The substantial market potential in Asia-Pacific area has raised our interests, also the background studies we have made as well as the feedback received have indicated that there is a notable demand for NMIs products and service concept", Ainassaari emphasizes.

Establishing a subsidiary is justified even because of the long distance. It also eases and accelerates communication and relations with our regional co-operators and business acquaintances. The existence of NMI Asia Ltd enables also different implementations of our business concept."

According to Mr. Ainassaari there are several indicators, for instance recently signed letter of intend with The Post Publishing Plc Ltd, the publisher of the Bangkok Post, and other preliminary negotiations with potential partners in Asia Pacific, that ensure the timing of expansion being right.
