BETHESDA, Md. Knystautas will explain how continuous integration simplifies and automates the development process, so diagnosing computer bugs becomes easier. Participants will learn which tools to apply in the building, automation and testing processes; how to separate configuration management from code; and how to more effectively rely on the source code management server to optimize efficiency and security.
Continuous integration is an increasingly important issue in the workplace and critical to productivity," says Knystautas. With this type of technology, we can ensure that bugs such as the recent WORM virus are quickly detected and stopped before they can penetrate servers, disrupt business and result in financial losses."
In 1995, Knystautas utilized the Internet to provide strategic guidance to a large international publishing firm. Since then, he has maximized the Internet to facilitate more efficient communication and sharing of information within the business community. He is also the principal for PrestoSports software and plans to grow the system into a comprehensive information management tool for athletic events, including schedules, statistics, merchandizing, travel, and financial management. In 1998, Lokitech built the Eastern College Athletic Conferences online officiating system, and the relationship continues today. Knystautas has made consistent contributions to open source code research through the non-profit Apache Software Foundation, the true cutting edge of the Internet. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Maryland. He earned his MBA from Thunderbird, the American School of International Management.
