Cedar Brewing Company Taps Two More Ales!

The Cedar Brewing Company announces the release of two ales today! First is the annual release of Oatmeal Stout and second is the new Honey Porter Ale, both designed and brewed by the Cedar Brewing Company's World Beer Championship multi-Bronze Medal Winning brewmaster, Mike Snyder, who has been brewing for Cedar Brewing since the brewpub's inception in 1996.

About the new beers.
Oatmeal Stout contains 50 pounds of our local Quaker Oats along with several dark malts, including English roasted barley. This late season ale has a very full, robust flavor that makes this great cool weather ale. This ale has become so popular, we make it every year, Octber through March!

Honey Porter Ale is a dark bronze colored ale that contains seven different varieties of barley from three countries. Tettnang hops and pure Iowa wildflower honey create a nice balance and smooth finish to this slightly sweet and mild porter.
