Robin Bennett Elected Regional Vice President of the National Association of Health Underwriters

(Arlington, VA) Robin H. Bennett, RHU, of Columbia, SC was recently elected regional vice president of the National Association of Health Underwriters' (NAHU) Board of Trustees for 2003-2005. In this capacity, she will serve as the principal avenue of communications between the National Association and the state and local chapters in her region (AL, FL, GA, MI, NC, SC, and TN). Regional vice presidents hold a voting seat on the Board of Trustees and assure the interests of the members in their region are properly conveyed.

(Arlington, VA) Robin H. Bennett, RHU, of Columbia, SC was recently elected regional vice president of the National Association of Health Underwriters' (NAHU) Board of Trustees for 2003-2005. In this capacity, she will serve as the principal avenue of communications between the National Association and the state and local chapters in her region (AL, FL, GA, MI, NC, SC, and TN). Robin has nearly fifteen years of experience in the insurance industry. She is a Senior Account Executive at Carolina Care Plan, Inc. Previously, she was Vice President of Employee Benefits at Willis Corporation and Account Executive for United HealthCare. Robin is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and with a B.S. degree in business education.

Robin has been an active member of NAHU since December 1991 and has served as a Board member at the national, state and local levels. She served on the NAHU Board of Trustees as HITC Chair in 1994-1995 and as Membership Chair in 2000-2001. She was the President and Founding Officer of the Columbia AHU chapter in 1991 and also the President and Founding Officer of the South Carolina AHU chapter. She served as Past President?s Council Chair for SCAHU for several years and also various other Board positions for her local and state chapters.

In addition, Robin has received the Distinguished Service Award from NAHU and the South Carolina AHU. She has also qualified for the Leading Producers Round Table and participates on the South Carolina Honor Council.
