SPORTSCARDSHERIFF.COM ANNOUNCES NEW COURT/MEDIATION SYSTEM
Los Angeles, CA - October 28, 2003 - SportsCardSheriff.com, the premier online community for Sports Cards Collectors, has launched a new Court/Mediation system unlike anything found within the sports card hobby.
Crit Van Tuyl, owner of SportsCardSheriff.com said, We have always been a leader in the communities for collectors space and this new Court System will improve our ability to help when the occasion arises that a trade or sale has difficulty between our members. It is much easier to distance yourself from the plight of online collectors then to reach out to help. At SportsCardSheriff.com we have never shrank back from the task of improving the hobby and that starts with improving the experience of the collector."
The new system is comprised of an advanced "ticketing" system where a complaint can be registered and private process started where every step of the way the collector can see and respond to actions taken to resolve an issue. Upon resolution, the case is closed.
To date, SportsCardSheriff.com has handled 124 cases with most valid cases being resolved successfully. SportsCardSheriff.com has recorded 2834 successful trades, not to mention thousands more that have gone unrecorded.
SportsCardSheriff.coms community forums provide access to approximately 100,000 posts in dozens of sports card and sports memorabilia related categories. Trading between members is organized, featuring feedback and mediation when needed. The strength of the community is the large moderation team who keep things civil for the enjoyment of the entire community (SCS Team).
