CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES VICTIMS RELIEF EMERGENCY WEBSITE CREATED AND HOSTED BY TEXAS GLOBAL HOSTING GIANT, C I HOST

Los Angeles PR firm MAYO Communications to manage content and media relations for website www.CAwildfires.com designed and hosted by one of the worlds top five hosting companies -C I Host.

(PRWEB) October 30, 2003 -- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 29 2003--- Texas global hosting giant C I Host (www.cihost.com) has just created a website to aid victims of Californias wildfires disasters that has burned more than 1,500 homes in five counties and left 17 people dead. C I Host, a global managed Web page hosting and server colocation provider, based in Bedford, TX has four data centers, including a 10,000 square foot facility in Los Angeles.

Like millions of people nationwide and the firefighters on the line, we felt helpless watching flames race through people homes live on TV," said President and CEO Christopher Faulkner of C I Host. We decided there is something everyone could do and since we have the capability we believe an emergency victims relief site will help."

The website hosted by C I Host was registered today at www.CAwildfires.com and MAYO Communications, an Los Angeles Public Relations firm (www.MayoCommunications.com), will provide the content, which will include up to the moment news on fires, links to emergency resources, e-commerce to donate funds to the American Red Cross and Salvation Army aiding the homeless families.

We definitely need financial resources, because the American Red Cross purchases basic need supplies for the victims at the disaster site or we provide vouchers," said Acting CEO and Chief Operating Officer Angie Turner, San Gabriel Valley Chapter, in Pasadena, CA.

In challenging other corporations to come forward, C I Host CEO and President Christopher Faulkner said, For every dollar donated to the site for fire victims, we will personally match them dollar for dollar. These wildfire victims need cash, food, clothing and toys for their families staying in shelters and with friends. California has been hard hit by tragedies in the past, but theres nothing worse than losing your home to a wildfire."

Christopher Faulkner has a big heart, and were proud to help the wildfire victims," said President Aida Mayo, MAYO Communications, Los Angeles. Its the least we can do and we need to act now."
