Being avid readers from a very young age, we cannot imagine growing up in a home without books. Books were a big part of our childhood, and they are still a big part of us now at Penguin Cottage. We don't want children in our country, because of family economic circumstances, to miss out on the magic of reading. With that desire, Penguin Cottage invites you to join us in our wholehearted support for First Book.

In the past two years, First Book has provided close to 15 million new books to children in hundreds of communities nationwide who, for economic reasons, have little or no access to books.
