The Aruba tourism Authority is pleased to announce that Ellen Keralla of Special Occasion Travel, has successfully completed the requirements necessary to qualify as an Aruba Certified Expert (ACE). The certification is accredited by the Institute of Certified Travel Agents. The ACE Program is delivered by government-certified trainers and contains information on Arubas history, culture, geography, weather, getting around, things to do, nightlife, activities and dining plus specific features of each hotel. In partnership with Aruba, the Ace Agent is qualified to receive referrals generated from Aruba Tourism Authority advertising and other sales activities.

Aruba is a popular vacation destination in the Dutch Caribbean just fifteen miles from the Venezuelan coast and outside of the hurricane belt. The island is known for its powder-white beaches; azure water; 82 degree average temperature; divi-divi trees and its Arawak Indian and Dutch Colonial heritage. Aruba offers an abundance of both active and leisure vacation activities that attract families, honeymooners and water sport enthusiasts, many being scuba divers. The island is multi-lingual with English widely spoken.

The Aruba Certified Expert Program is sponsored by the Aruba Tourism Authority and the Aruba Hotel and Travel Association. For travel information, contact Ellen Keralla at www.specialoccasiontravel.com or call 1-800-691-0243.
