Winners Announced in the 'Worlds Smallest Film Festival - London Competition
Finalists in this unique mobile content event were selected in 11 different categories, and were showcased at the Mobile Commerce World conference and exhibition, which attracted more than 3,500 high-technology and wireless senior executives.
November 3, 2003 - Los Angeles, CA -- BigDigit, Inc. today released the names of the winners in the Worlds Smallest Film Festival -- London", which took place in late September in London as part of the Mobile Commerce World conference and exhibition.
Entries in the competition were submitted by a variety of professional and non-professional content creators from the U.S., Europe and other parts of the world. The 'Worlds Smallest Film Festival is designed to showcase the best in digital content designed for small-format wireless devices, and to demonstrate the potential of this new broadcast medium as a mobile entertainment, commercial and business platform.
The Worlds Smallest Film Festival -- London" was hosted by Terrapin, Ltd. and Mobile Commerce World, an event that targets mobile and wireless decision makers and buyers from throughout Europe and the world. Filmmakers submitted entries for this first European event, and the finalists and winners were announced and shown as part of a presentation. BigDigit is currently inviting contributions and sponsors for their upcoming events, including The Worlds Smallest TV Festival" which will be held in January 2004 to explore important developments in TV-to-Mobile, as well as entries for their licensed comedy, extreme, and minute-mobile-movies channels.
