BigDigit, Inc. to Produce The Worlds Smallest TV Festival" as Part of NATPE Annual Gathering of Television Execs in Las Vegas

Festival will showcase the latest and most innovative mobile television content as part of the National Association of Television Program Executives event, and showcase finalists and winners of a digital content competition.

November 4, 2003-- Los Angeles, CA - BigDigit, Inc., a pioneer and worldwide leader in independent content aggregation and distribution for the mobile phone market, has agreed to produce the inaugural Worlds Smallest TV Festival" in association with the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) at their annual conference and exhibition January 18-20, at the Sands Expo Center and Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

The event will showcase the best and most innovative digital content created for small-format devices such as wireless phones and handsets, to illustrate the potential of TV-to-mobile broadcasts, an emerging market. Producers will submit short clips into this competition and they will be juried and presented at the January conference, which is expected to be attended by thousands of TV programming executives from around the world.

The number of mobile phones expected to support multimedia imaging and digital content is expected to skyrocket from roughly 19 million worldwide today to more than 298 million by 2007," says Tim Scannell, Vice President of BigDigit, Inc., producer of the 'Worlds Smallest TV festivals. One of the great challenges in traditional broadcasting is capturing and growing and increasingly mobile audience. The Worlds Smallest TV Festival" is designed to showcase new developments and demonstrate the potential of this exciting new medium."

BigDigit and The Worlds Smallest TV Festival" will also have a booth on the exhibit floor at NATPE, and plans to host a number of sponsor demonstrations during the three-day event.

BigDigits involvement in the NATPE conference follows the companys successful production of The Worlds Smallest Film Festival -- London", which took place in September 2003 as part of the Mobile Commerce World event (hosted by Terrapin, Ltd.), which attracted more than 3,500 mobile and wireless decision makers and buyers from throughout Europe and the world. Filmmakers submitted entries for this first European event, and the finalists and winners were announced and shown as part of the presentation. BigDigit is actively soliciting sponsors for The Worlds Smallest TV Festival", including those involved in the creation, production and distribution of digital content. Through their involvement, sponsors are recognized as innovators and early adopters of this evolving broadcast medium, which is designed to enhance and extend the traditional television viewing experience. A select number of speaking and demonstration opportunities are also available.
