The Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro will be having their annual Friends of Youth" Breakfast of Wednesday, November 12, 2003. The featured speaker this year will be State Attorney General Bill Lockyer.

The Friends of Youth Breakfast serves as the kick-off of the Boys & Girls Clubs annual gift giving campaign and gives attendees a chance to see the Club and hear about the impact that the club programs are having on the lives of youngsters.

We are very excited to have Attorney General Lockyer speaking at our event. I cant think of a better person to address the validity of after-school programs such as the Boys & Girls Club. Keeping kids engaged in safe, positive activities after school is something the Attorney General is passionate about and we are honored to have him speak on our behalf," said Robert Glotch, Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro Executive Director.
