New York, NY --- Blackbird Pond is a five-member rock band from Virginia, USA. The band members are truly the definition of the word "melting pot". They are Americans with cultural background of Filipino, German, Spanish, and Chinese! Their sound has been compared to an amalgam of such chart-makers as The Doors, Janice Joplin, Carlos Santana, and a touch of The White Stripes.

Blackbird Pond is known for having energetic and strong stage presence, great music and undeniable songwriting skills. The lead singer, Luisa-Mari, is a mix of Jennifer Lopez's beauty, the freight-train howler of Tina Turner, and the frenzy presence of Mick Jagger. The band's sound is a combination of the power of Led Zeppelin, the stroke of AC/DC, The Rolling Stones style of British R&B, and the pure rock and roll sound of Credence Clearwater Revival.
