The Real Time Performance (RTP) plug-in measures telecom networks for a variety of key data indicators such as hits, frequencies, durations, voltages, min/max or other values. It then aggregates this information to beautiful 3D charts, graphs and diagrams. The features of a Real Time Performance plug-in are important to this industry. Many telecom switches send information to a printer, screen, or a file. Other monitoring solutions may give hourly or daily reports based on this historical information, but ArTrac G4 graphically displays the information Operations Managers and Switch Engineers need to see in real time. Additionally, it presents performance markers on screen that allow you to see how equipment is performing in relation to acceptable parameters.
ArTrac G4 does more than show nice 3D pictures of your network's performance in real time; it acts on the information it gathers intelligently. Using two-way messaging and notification, via SMS and e-mail messages, ArTrac G4 communicates directly to maintenance personnel and offers them the choice to respond back via cell phone, wireless PDA, laptop, or other web capable devices. The ArTrac G4 system then can be told, even from remote locations, to acknowledge the alarm, inhibit, clear the event, or perform other operations. In this way, maintenance personnel can now take action on the event and dialogue directly with ArTrac G4, saving time and resources.
