Anticipation Grows For the 4th Annual GoGirls Music Festival in Milwaukee

Five hot, female-proud bands perform as part of the 4th Annual GoGirlsMusicFest in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee, WI...The excitement continues to grow as the GoGirlsMusic.com brings the 4th annual GoGirlsMusic Fest to the Milwaukee Ale House, 233 North Water Street Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Thursday, November 13 beginning at 8:00 pm. Admission to the event is $10, with the proceeds from the show benefiting the Rock 'n Roll Camp for Girls scholarship program.
            
In addition to the high caliber of the evenings performers, who represent the best of southeastern Wisconsins independent women in music, the first 75 attendees will receive a free copy of the GoGirlsMusicFest CD, which includes the track Pulse" from festival performers Rainy Day Crush (www.rainydaycrush.com). Other performers include:

2 Tone Blonde (www.2toneblonde.com)
Blue Background (www.bluebackground.com)
Capital 8 (www.capitol8.com)
Sunspot (www.sunspot.com)
            
Exciting autographed merchandise from the performers will be auctioned off throughout the show, including a Daisy Rock bass guitar courtesy of Brass Bell Music Store in Glendale, Wisconsin.

Milwaukees own Thursday Night Drinking Club has already done its part to help out the Rock 'n Roll Camp for Girls scholarship program. The proceeds from their October 30 meeting at the Safe House went to the non-profit organization.

Each summer, campers from around the world, ages 8-18, coming together to create and play rock 'n roll music on their instrument of choice. Together, the organization and the girls share knowledge, leadership, and self-esteem through rock and roll music.

Madalyn Sklar, founder of GoGirlsMusic.com, created GoGirlsMusicFest, a series of annual showcase events across the United States. The festival promotes independent women in music while supporting various charities, including the Rock 'n Roll Camp for Girls. Since 2000, over 50 all volunteer run shows have taken place throughout the U.S.

Since 1996, GoGirlsMusic.com has dedicated itself to bringing together independent women musicians from around the country. Seven years later, GoGirlsMusic.com has become a welcome destination for women in music through networking and events.
