Mike is a Jacksonville, Florida native and grew up with members of Lynyrd Skynyrd. After the tragic crash of Skynyrds plane, Mike(Big Lou)Lewis was asked to help the surviving band members continue their music careers. He formed the Rossington-Collins Band and organized their world tour. After 2 Platinum albums with RCB, he formed the Allen Collins Band, which resulted in a gold album. Lou then decided to re-form and re-organize Lynyrd Skynyrd. Due to his foresight, the legend of Skynyrd lives today. He was with Lynyrd Skynyrd for 18 years as Road Manager and was instrumental in the success of one of the most famous bands in Rock-n-Roll history.
