Over 600 research publications now available online

(PRWEB) November 7, 2003 --Casalini Libri Digital Division is pleased to announce the publication of the electronic editions of more than 500 books and 100 journals, in a wide range of disciplines, produced by some of Italy's most important publishers. This initiative, the first of its kind, represents a concrete opportunity for universities, libraries and research centres, both in Italy and abroad, to offer their academics and students access to the full-text of these titles via the Internet.

Olschki; Longo; Moxedano; Storia e Letteratura; Salerno and Vallecchi.

The material offered online comprises monographic works, conference proceedings and periodicals which deal with all the salient aspects of the humanities from a comparative viewpoint. Subjects areas include archaeology; history; classical philology; linguistics; comparative literature; Italian studies; music; philosophy; the arts; pedagogy; library sciences and social sciences.

Access, navigation, searching and full-text consultation are possible through Casalini's own Mercurio system, now available with an interface in English, German, Italian, French and Spanish.
