Euro-Trend Group - a multi-discipline group of professional services firms - has joined Russell Bedford International - the global accountancy and business consulting network - as its member firm in Prague, Czech Republic.

Russell Bedford International - the global accountancy and business consulting network - has strengthened its European coverage by the addition of a new member in Prague, Czech Republic.

The new member is the Euro-Trend Group - a multi-discipline group of professional services firms with offices in central Prague.

Established in 1990, the group comprises two main practices: Euro-Trend, s.r.o. and Euro-Trend Audit, a.s.

Euro-Trend, s.r.o. offers a comprehensive corporate tax consulting and compliance service, covering both Czech and international tax issues. Euro-Trend Audit, a.s. provides a full range of statutory audit, corporate due diligence and accountancy consulting services.

Together with its other specialist practices, the group also covers asset valuation, securities appraisal, business consulting and investment advice.

Jirí Nekovár, the group's founder and managing partner, is a registered tax advisor and is a key figure in the tax consulting profession in the Czech Republic. Among his many roles, he is currently President of the Chamber of Tax Advisors, Member of the Co-ordination Committee of the Ministry of Finance for Taxation, and the representative of the Czech Chamber of Tax Advisors at the Confédération Fiscale Européene.

Petr Ryneš, the partner responsible for the audit practice, was previously at the Ministry of Finance, where he was involved in the introduction of accounting and taxation reform in the Czech Republic. He is a member of various committees at the Chamber of Auditors. He is a frequent lecturer and is widely published, being the author of the Czech Republic's standard text book on double-entry bookkeeping.
