Dayton Photographer Moves Business to New Office Location

Dayton-based photographer Jim Crotty has recently located his photography business, Picturesque Ohio, to a new office location in Kettering, Ohio.

Kettering, OH . . . Jim Crotty, a Dayton-based photographer who specializes in fine art landscape and nature images, has recently moved his photography business, Picturesque Ohio, to a leased office space at 15 West Dorothy Lane, Suite E, located above the current offices of the Kettering-Oakwood-Moraine Chamber of Commerce at the corner of Far Hills Avenue and Dorothy Lane in Kettering. This new office area includes a display area where many of Crottys prints, both framed and unframed, are available for viewing. Crotty is also a member of the Town and Country Fine Art Gallery in Kettering where he also displays framed prints of carefully selected images taken throughout Dayton area MetroParks as well as in state park and recreational areas of Southern Ohio.
Electronic Brochure Available on Photographers Web Site
Jim Crotty also presents select samples of his work for easy viewing at www.PicturesqueOhio.com. This web site was recently updated with many new images taken throughout Hocking Hills, Adams County, Indian Mound Reserve and Hills and Dales MetroPark. Also available at PicturesqueOhio.com is an active link to Crottys electronic brochure, presented as a PDF file.
Mamiya Web Site Features Two of Crottys Images
The company web site of Mamiya, a manufacturer of professional-level, medium format cameras and lenses, recently posted two of Crottys images that were taken last spring in Hocking Hills State Park. The web page is available at http://www.mamiya.co.uk/newGallery/index.htm?Nature_and_Landscapes. This is quite an honor considering the caliber of talent displayed on Mamiyas site, most of whom are professional photographers from throughout the world," commented Crotty.
Custom prints of many of Crottys images are available for sale in a variety of sizes. In addition to local landscape and nature images, Crotty also maintains a portfolio of photographic images showcasing the Dayton skyline and Dayton-area landmarks. When it comes to fine art photography, most of what I see in offices, lobbies and homes are reproductions of images taken of the Western United States. What I offer are finely crafted prints, each created from the original negative or transparency, of Ohios natural beauty, created right here in our own neighborhoods and parks."
An Ohio native, Crotty grew-up in Kettering. He is a graduate of both Alter High School and the University of Dayton, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1989. Before returning to the Dayton area, Crotty lived in such scenic locales as Charleston, South Carolina and Salt Lake City, Utah. He also completed professional training in nature photography at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana as well as earning a Master of Professional Communication degree at Westminster College of Salt Lake City. He currently resides in Kettering with his wife and two daughters.
