Bevy of Business Boosts PR Personnel
Although the Chattanooga firm opened just six weeks ago, Originality Public Relations President Angela Smith, APR, said the company has acquired so much new business that two staff members must be added to handle the workload. Chuck Pool has joined Originality as Director of Special Events, and Daniel Smith has come on board as the firms Creative Specialist.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Although the firm opened just six weeks ago, Originality Public Relations President Angela Smith, APR, said the company has acquired so much new business that two staff members must be added to handle the workload.
Chuck Pool has joined Originality as Director of Special Events, and Daniel Smith has come on board as the firms Creative Specialist.

As Director of Special Events, Mr. Pool will be responsible for conceptualizing and managing events for the firms clients, including groundbreakings, grand openings, product launches, trade shows, and fundraisers.
Before joining Originality Public Relations, Mr. Pool owned CFPool Branding, a marketing and special events firm. He has worked extensively with clients in the tourism, media, food service, and nonprofit industries, including the Tennessee Civil War Museum, the Chickamauga Chattanooga National Military Park, Clear Channel Radio, Olan Mills, T&T Produce, and the Homebuilders Association of Southern Tennessee. Mr. Pool has a degree in marketing and resides in St. Elmo.
Graphic design, Web design, and writing will be the focus of Mr. Smiths position as Creative Specialist.
After earning a bachelors degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Mr. Smith spent two years as a Digital Artist for Olan Mills. During his studies at UTC, Mr. Smith completed an internship with Johnson Waterhouse Public Relations, where he worked with clients that included Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise, Cricket, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He resides in Hixson.
