Dear Martial Arts Star;
It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to the Battle of Detroit" Championships in its 34th year. The event will be held February 20 & 21, 2004 with a Stars for Charity function that starts with a V.I.P. reception at and hosted by the MGM Grand Casino-Detroit. There will be Seminars on the 20th at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn, a Stars V.I.P. reception by and at the MGM Grand Casino-Detroit, and a Tournament at the University of Michigan --Dearborn Field House on February 21, 2004. This championship is held for Charity and a great cause that touches 41,000,000 Americans without health insurance. 8 out of 10 of them work and struggle for a living.
The Battle of Detroit Championships proceeds go to a Non Profit Z.I.A.D. Healthcare for the Underserved Inc. a 501c3 Tax-exempt organization that provides health care for persons without health insurance. Its goal is to spread nationally the work it started in Michigan, serving the uninsured. It has provided thousands of persons with needed primary healthcare to prevent catastrophic illnesses by detection early up.
We would appreciate it if you could join us in this effort to help the Uninsured, Underserved, poor and working poor by attending this event.
We would be glad to provide your air to Detroit, accommodations, and meals.
You may also sell something at the event, sign autographs, have pictures sold with a small group or large group, and keep a part of the proceeds. Last year the event drew over 2,000 persons. Detroit is the 5th largest city in the United States and the Championship is being held in 8th largest county in the U.S.
Your confirmation to be at the event will help us increase the profits for the non-profit and will be truly appreciated. I can be reached at 313-85-8767. Non-profit Web site: www.ziadhealthcare.org , and Battle of Detroit web site www.worldmartialartscollege.com. You can contact me at ibrahamahmed@aol.com or by calling 313-815-8767. About Metro Detroit

In less than 100 years metro Detroit gained fame for putting the world on wheels and changing the face of popular music. But as we enter a new millennium, Detroit is much more than cars and Motown.

Today, metro Detroit boasts world-class shopping, first-rate cultural attractions (including one of the nation's largest theater districts) and Las Vegas-style casino gaming.

Detroit's cultural and ethnic diversity is celebrated in the form of weekend festivals held at Hart Plaza on the riverfront every summer. Across the river lies Windsor, Ontario, making Detroit one of the busiest international borders in the U.S.

And, of course, you have to come here if you want to get the authentic Motown experience or see the world's best collection of automotive attractions.
