New York Public Library hosts domestic violence/toxic relationship literary series throughout November featuring internationally acclaimed novelist Joseph Foti, ESQ. author of The Carrot and the Mule
Noted author Joseph Foti has been invited to appear at several Brooklyn Branches of the New York Public Library from 11/5-11/25/03 to discuss to discuss the domestic violence and toxic relationship aspects of his novel "The Carrot and the Mule," as well as the writing process. The Library has also agreed to feature copies of his novel in all these branches. The book is a mixture of contemporary fiction/romance/mystery and legal thriller and the anti-domestic violence, toxic relationship, multiculturalism and self empowerment themes of it should prove helpful and interesting to a wide ranging audience.
The Carrot and the Mule, is a contemporary fiction novel which details the dangers of racism, sexism, domestic violence and toxic relationship's. Issues that apply to all races. It was written to be a book that makes a difference and should prove helpful not only to battered women but all members of our society seeking happy relationships and happiness itself. Overcoming toxic and manipulative relationships are covered in depth in the novel, along with the dangers of materialism and need for self empowerment, therefore it should appeal to a variety of audiences.
New York Public Library has asked Mr. Foti to appear at five of their branches in November to discuss the domestic violence and toxic relationship aspects of his novel "The Carrot and the Mule"as well as the writing process.
