CALLING ALL CONTRACTORS" IS MESSAGE OF NEWLY LAUNCHED WEB SITE SERVING AS DIRECTORY OF RESOURCES FOR FIRE VICTIMS REBUILDING EFFORTS

Contact: Vince Heald (858) 453-9600

1Park Place has launched a new web site called HelpRebuildSanDiego.org to enlist contractors who can assist victims of San Diegos devastating wildfires with their rebuilding efforts.

With the realization that hundreds of local fire survivors will have to rebuild their homes and that demand may overwhelm the areas current supply of contractor services, 1Park Place president and CEO Steve Hundley launched the site recently to coordinate a comprehensive source of reputable and responsible building and home service contractors and volunteers.

We want to register as many contractors and service providers as we can who have demonstrated a successful track record and who are committed to helping our fellow citizens rebuild their lives," Hundley said. If you are a reputable contractor, landscaper, home or appliance supplier or a volunteer who can help out with home or auto rental, pet care or any other home service, we are asking for your assistance in this Herculean effort."

The ultimate goal of the site, Hundley explained, is not only to provide a dependable resource for those seeking contractors and home services, but also to filter out unscrupulous businesses who might attempt to take advantage of traumatized victims.

With the recent increased demand for construction services, finding assistance quickly and efficiently may be difficult," Hundley said, and we want to make every effort to help those in need with resources so they can put their lives back together as effortlessly as possible."
Initially, building contractors and home service providers are encouraged to visit the web site and post their services at no cost to them. Once the database for providers has been established, which could take up to a week, fire victims can then navigate the site to obtain names, addresses and references of reputable contractors and of those wishing to offer volunteer services. Currently, about 300 businesses have agreed to participate.

Founded in 1995, San Diego-based 1ParkPlace (www.1ParkPlace.com) offers the nations most comprehensive lineup of business-building programs, support, training and tools developed exclusively for real estate practitioners. Already, the company provides its programs and tools to thousands of top-producing real estate professionals who have easily integrated 1ParkPlaces technology into their business.
