NOMENCLATURE CORPORATION ACQUIRES GRAHAM CHAPMAN ARCHIVES
The Nomenclature Corporation of Japan has acquired archives of late Monty Python star.
The Nomenclature Corporation of Japan has acquired the Graham Chapman Archives for an undisclosed amount in cash and securities. Corporation officials hope the acquisition will expand the U.S. market for their products.
"The late Graham Chapman was a very funny man, a genius, and we're hoping that this acquisition of his literary works will allow us to expand into the North American market, as well as penetrate European countries such as Luxemburg, " Nomenclature spokesman Yoshi Matura said.
The Chapman Archives oversees the literary properties of the late Monty Python star.
Headquartered in Tokyo, the Nomenclature Corporation is a pioneer and world leader in the development of engineered belt cleaning and sealing systems and other custom-designed systems to improve bulk materials handling. It will now add Chapman's literary material to their exisiting line of belt cleaners, air cannons, engineered chute systems, impact cradles, load zone sealing systems, belt tracking devices and industrial vibrators.
The corporation, founded in 1944, has about 500 employees worldwide and will post sales of more than $600 million this year.
