2004 AMAZING WOMEN SELECTED BY ONYX WOMAN MAGAZINE

Ola R. Jackson, founder and publisher of Onyx Woman magazine, says it is important that we acknowledge and celebrate the women who so unselfishly give of themselves and sometimes receive little recognition for their efforts. The 2004 Amazing Women is our way of saying, Thank You" and creating a platform for others to showcase the generosity of the women who have touched their lives.

Onyx Woman Magazine Salutes Women of Excellence

Onyx Woman magazine, a business publication for women of color will recognize 15 African-American women who serve as role models, mentors and exceptional leaders. The nominees must have made contributions in the areas of community outreach, business development or career advancement of other women.

To nominate a candidate, send a 100 word bio to ola@onyxwoman.com. The women can reside anywhere in the United States. The winners will be listed in the January 2004 edition. Deadline for entry is November 31, 2003.
