Kristie Leigh Maguire wins Best Up and Coming Author of the Year and her novel, Desert Heat, wins Romance of the Year

November 10, 2003 - Romance magazine Affaire de Coeur has announced the winners of its 2003 Internet Reader/Writer Poll.

Author Kristie Leigh Maguire won the Best Up and Coming Author of the Year category. Maguire's novel, "Desert Heat", won the Romance of the Year category.

Maguire's novel "Emails from the Edge (The Life of an Expatriate Wife") is based upon her true story of an American woman living in the Land of the Rising Sun. Her novel "No Lady and Her Tramp" is a romantic comedy that she co-authored with Mark Haeuser.
